🌿 Joint Initiative by The Mishty Foundation & Srishti Trust 

"Introduction"

Cows hold immense cultural, ecological, and economic importance in India. Recognizing their significance, The Mishty Foundation in collaboration with Srishti Trust proposes the establishment of a Gaushala Project with an integrated Dairy Farm in Odisha.

This initiative will focus not only on cow protection and welfare, but also on sustainable dairy farming, organic agriculture, and rural livelihood creation.

"Objectives"

1. Provide shelter, food, and medical care to abandoned, old, and stray cows.

2. Develop a sustainable dairy farm to generate self-reliant income.

3. Promote organic farming practices using cow dung and urine for bio-fertilizers.

4. Create employment opportunities for rural communities, especially women.

5. Raise awareness on animal welfare, Ayurveda, and environmental sustainability.

6. Ensure community participation in cow protection and rural development.

• Cow Shelters: Well-ventilated sheds with clean drinking water supply.

• Veterinary Care Unit: Regular health checkups, vaccinations, and treatment.

• Fodder & Green Belt Area: Dedicated land for organic fodder cultivation.

• Biogas & Organic Fertilizer Unit: Use of cow dung for renewable energy and fertilizers.

• Dairy Processing Unit: For milk, ghee, paneer, and other value-added products.

• Community Training Center: Workshops on dairy farming, organic agriculture, and self-employment.
